As I enjoyed my beer and a new friend and speaker at JDC Entwine Ethiopia, Raquel Banquiat, we spoke about how neither she nor many other Jews read my blog or emails even though, from the outside, liked it very much. That’s when I realized that there is a reason why I need to make a physical book. It is the only way that I can truly connect with others about my experiences and pass on the information I learned over the course of the past year.
